The Eileen Aveson Meeting Room

The meeting room is based upstairs at the back of our building.

It is a quiet, relaxing room, decorated and furnished, accommodating up to 8 people. A chair lift is available. We advise you to view the room before making a booking.

The room is suitable for: Training Events, Conferences, Interviews

A reception service is also available on request for daytime bookings only.

Charges are for a session rather than hourly. In some circumstances we can accommodate hourly sessions - charge is £5 for community groups and £10 for profitmaking and statutory groups.

A session can be: Morning, Afternoon, Evening

The rates differ according to the type of organisation:
Statutory Groups - £20 per session
Voluntary/Community Groups - £15 per session
Business/Profit making- contact us for further info

Window Display

The window display is to recruit volunteers.

Please do an item on recruiting volunteers and refer to what they would be getting out of volunteering - training reference, who they should contact and contact numbers. Try and keep the display as clear and simple as possible. Please use lay terminology and not jargon.

Ensure all your display material is of a substance that is not too heavy, as the display material is only pinned to the boards. Light material is advisable. As the window is tinted, we advise you to use bright colours as they will portray better. If you have any handouts or leaflets for potential volunteers, please leave them at the office.

We do not charge for this service. All we ask is that part of your window display incorporates an item on recruiting volunteers.

Please collect your window display material within 5 days of display being taken down. We regret that we do not have storage space, and we accept no responsibility after this period for any display material lost or damaged.
